Ford's F-Series trucks come equipped with 6.0-liter engines. The front engine accessories are operated by a single accessory belt. The belt routes around each accessory pulley at the same time. This allows the single belt to operate all of the accessories at the same time. If the belt appears to have any fraying, cracking or damage, change it before the belt deteriorates completely and breaks.

Rotate the breaker bar in a counterclockwise motion until the belt is loose enough to remove from the tensioner pulley. Slide the belt out from around the tensioner pulley and let the breaker bar retract until the tensioner stops.

Slide the new belt evenly around the tensioner pulley and release the breaker bar. Pull the breaker bar off of the tensioner pulley. Ensure that the belt is inside of each pulley.
